Lo Custom Fit produced by the man who knows no boundaries, Mr Lee Gomez aka Wipe The Needle, expresses yet again his musical talents and takes us on a soulful yet deeper and broken beat journey on this EP.

Firstly setting the tone with the first single ‘Black Bird’ collaborating with spoken word artist and poet Tshaka Campbell. Performing vocals on Life’s struggle in finding ourselves and what we can discover once we open our minds.
“Lo Custom Fit” to us is for the dancers with striking synths chords, piano rifts with broken beats along creating a vibe for those who love to dance and get lost in the music.
And once again with “Inhuman” which takes us on another journey where the bassline is submerged and intertwines with strings that of a melodic structure that will get your toes tapping and head nodding!Written, produced and arranged by Lee Gomez

March Bandcamp Friday

The fabulous monthly initiative that Bandcamp set up exactly a year ago to support musicians during Covid-19, is back on Friday 5th March so please pay our Bandcamp store a visit and pick up some Makin’ Moves exclusive goodies!

Firstly, you can pick up the dreamy second collaboration between New Jersey’s Conway Kasey and South Africa’s Earl W Green on vocals “Paradise Lost”. A big hit on the Makin’ Moves show for the last 6 months which now sees the light of day!

Also, Wipe The Needle is back with his Custom Fit EP, a three-tracker expressing yet again his musical talents and taking us on a soulful yet deeper and broken beat journey.  Blackbird sees a collaboration with spoken word poet Tshaka Campbell plus two other fab melodic tracks.

A very soulful yet afro beat feel, Conway produces yet another stellar & subliminal track to compliment one of the soulful house scenes talented and hard working male vocalists at this present time. We really like this one as you can hear Earl in a totally different sound to what you might be use to hearing , yet unsurprising by this maestro. We hope you enjoy this too.

Up next on Makin’ Moves, one our favourite singers who needs know introduction and widely recognised across the house community as the ‘godfather’ of the soulful and gospel house scene. New Jersey’s Mr Kenny Bobien.

Still amazing audiences til this day, Kenny has an impressive string of quality releases, which includes the motion picture soundtrack “Hanging With The Homeboys”, “You Are My Friend”, “Kenny’s Friends”, “Father”, “Rise Above The Storm”, “Brighter Days”, “Let Me Show you”, “I shall not be moved”, “Superficial People”, “Reach”, “Blessed” and ”Grateful”.These are just a few of the songs that have inspired so many.
