Morocco’s native Cee ElAssaad comes back again to collaborate with the UK’s afro house songstress Miss Sabrina Chyld for their debut release on Makin’ Moves! Cee as always provides his eclectic and hypnotic groove with his signature drums layered behind Sabrina’s sultry and meaningful vocals which ring true here to remind us to not dwell on the past, and utilise our time in the present. ‘Sweet Love’ is the tune which has been beautifully arranged with a very soulful delivery from South African artist Bo. Intertwined with melodic chords and uplifting percussive beats remixed by NJ Native Mark Lewis. This meaningful vocal is with filled with emotion and sure to catch the attention of soulful house music lovers on the dance floor! Makin’ Moves @ The Book Club, Shoreditch Friday 25th April

Following our roadblocked last event down at Brixton Jamm earlier this month, we return East for a one off event at the Book Club in Shoreditch on Friday 25th April! We’ve always loved this venue with its spacious basement, classy sound system and wooden dance floor!
Jamesey and Matt have had a busy start to 2025 and joining them for this special event will be one of our favourite dj / producers, Jihad Muhammad who will be flying in exclusively from New York! Jihad is one of the most respectful djs in New York, known for his precessional mixing and layering and we just know he’s gonna bring the fire from minute one!
On the production front he’s always consistent, with a steady output of releases on his Movement Soul label but not only that he’s also worked with our Makin’ Moves label, through the years culminating in the release of his single with Rona Ray last summer which hit the Traxsource number 1 slot last summer.
We are also excited to welcome Blissy E for her debut gig, someone who’s been making alot of waves in clubland of late with her unique sound, also catch her live on Voices Radio every week!
Please also join us early from 8pm where we will be hosting a house dance work shop with Jev, who did such a splendid job down in Brixton last time around.. Make sure you sign up ASAP as spots are limited!
