After serious consideration, and in light of recent announcements from the government we regretfully announce the postponement of our event this Friday at the Curtain in Shoreditch.
Our team, has worked incredibly hard to present another fantastic event, and this decision has not been taken lightly. The health and safety of you our followers, and the hotel staff is our top priority in light of the ever-changing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
If you would like a refund please head to the order in your order history on RA and click “Refund Tickets”. Your refund will be processed back into the account used to purchase your tickets. Refunds can take up to 5 working days to land in your account.
You have 14 days to request refunds, after which it will no longer be available.

Following 4 amazing free parties in 2019 at the wonderful LP set inside the Curtain Hotel in Shoreditch, we return with a bang for our first party of 2020! For this special event we welcome Crackazat from Sweden to London for his first show in the capital.
Originally from Bristol England, Ben Jacobs aka Crackazat is a multi-Instrumentalist and electronic producer. Since his emergence on the international scene, he has quickly become recognised for his unique fusion of Jazz and House music.
The last couple of years Crackazat has had an explosion of global popularity, with Remixes for the likes of Joey Negro, Moulinex, and Tom Misch.
When it comes to Live Sets, crackazat sets the bar high, having started out with supporting sets for Bonobo and Floating points. His glorious keyboard solos, funky bass guitar, and general infectious grooviness are winning him crowds across the planet.
Also, djing on the night catch residents Matt L-S and Jamesey spinning their unique deep house vibes!

Makin Moves return to LP the awesome club situated inside The Curtain Hotel in Shoreditch on Saturday 23rd November. The partnership with The Curtain Hotel has been really positive this year and allowed us to seek a new audience while delivering an even more quality experience to our growing following. Now into their 7th year, Makin’ Moves parties have become synonymous with dancers and soulful and deep house lovers across the UK.
For their fourth party of the year residents Matt L-S and Jamesey will be joined by Italian dj and production duo Souldynamic. If you haven’t witnessed a set of theirs before these guys are simply electric and bring so much energy with them! The duo are an awesome production collective constantly remixing and producing for top labels aswell as their own imprint Excedo Records. Their recent “Dishwater Blues Vol.1 release on BBE Records with Luis Radio and Margaret Grace is presently riding high in the Traxsource charts. Together they have played in clubs across the globe and celebrated their 12th anniversary of playing together this year. If you were out and about this summer you might have caught them at some of the best summer festivals in Europe including Southport Weekender and Suncebeat. We look forward to welcoming them to Makin Moves on Sat 23rd November.

Matt L-S and Jamesey have been at the forefront of the soulful house scene in london continually driving it forward and keeping things fresh. This year they’ve hosted two parties at LP and it’s now become the home for the brand with it’s amazing sound system and interior.
Both guys will be playing on the night alongside our guest Jihad Muhammad who will be exclusively flying in for this event! Jihad hails from New Jersey and is on one of the best DJs on the planet, his sets are electric and mixing skills are second to none. He’s been in the music industry for over 40 years, brought up listening to great djs in NYC such as Timmy Regisford, Louie Vega. He has his own legendary Bang The Drum event which he runs every month in New Jersey and also runs his own successful label, Movement Soul.

Following our very successful 100th release party at LP inside the wonderful Curtain Hotel in Shoreditch back in April, we are excited to head back there on Saturday 13th July for a very exclusive event.
We are proud to present the London edition of the 10 th anniversary of one of the top underground dance labels in the States, NDATL Muzik which is headed up by Kai Alce. Kai is a tremendous dj and prolificproducer that has released countless quality productions over the years. Kai celebrated the US editionof his anniversary last weekend at his Movement weekend party, Deep Detroit with Kai and Derrick May playing all night.
Kai has a hot forthcoming remix coming on the Makin’ Moves label plus a single featuring in the coming months which we’re very excited about and look forward to him showcasing on the night.

Following our ram jam session last month at the Canal Bar inside the infamous Dingwalls in Camden we head back there for our next all dayer event on Sunday 26th May.
With no work again on the Monday the party vibes are going to be in full swing with the sun out as residents Matt L-S and Jamesey are joined by more of their friends for a 11 hour music extravaganza taking you on a journey through soulful house, deep house, disco and soul!
Joining us for this event are dj soulprovyder from 4 to the Floor, a great dj in his own right and the man that hosts one of the best Sunday parties in London. Also, making their Makin’ Moves debuts are Randy Peterson who has been at the top of the dj game for more than 20 years, also hosting his infamous “The Selection show” on London’s Housefm.net. He also had a release last year on the Makin’ Moves label called “No Better” so it’s been great to finally have him on the line up for a party.
Last but not least we also have Omotosho another top dj who has been doing some great things through the years, mainly doing guest spots art various parties but more recently started his “To the Rock” parties at Shoreditch Platform which have been getting great reviews.
